About Celia
Celia was created as a tribute that Rene Brauchle wanted to pay to the matriarch of the Reyes family. She is the main reason why he is dedicated to cooking, as her spices and good heart taught him to nourish not only the stomach but also the soul. In our kitchen, we present dishes with Mexican and Latin American roots, using local and seasonal products.
About us
Rene Brauchle and Florentina Assis (he of Mexican-German descent and born in Venezuela, she born in Chile) are the owners and creators of Celia. Years ago, they came from Latin America to Europe with the dream of creating a space where they could present their ideas and creations. Düsseldorf has become the home of this dream, as it has proven to be a hospitable city open to new experiences.
